Limerick East): Security personnel accompanying some visiting dignitaries in the past have been allowed to carry firearms in the State. However, in the interests of security I do not consider it appropriate to indicate whether security personnel accompanying President Reagan on his forthcoming visit will be afforded similar facilities.
