asked the Minister for the Environment the number of new house purchase loans approved by Cork Corporation in the period 1 July 1982 to 1 July 1983 where requisitions on title were raised prior to the borrower's title being registered in the Land Registry.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 523 to 525, inclusive, together. The number of SDA house purchase loans approved by Cork Corporation for the period 1 July 1982 to 1 July 1983 was 207 of which 53 were for new houses. In the same period Cork Corporation also approved 194 Housing Finance Agency loans of which 108 were for new houses.
Information is not available in my Department on the number of instances where requisitions on title were raised prior to the borrower's title being registered in the Land Registry.
