The grant was paid in this case on 7 April 1984.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford as his Department was notified in December, 1983 that all work had been completed.
A grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the house is satisfactorily completed and occupied and that all the conditions applying to the grant scheme have been complied with.
The house was inspected by my Department's inspector on 16 December 1983 who reported that work on the house was not complete. A further inspection, with a view to payment of a grant, will be carried out shortly.

The Deputy was informed on 3 May 1983 in response to a previous Dáil question about this case that the grants approved could not be paid because, contrary to a statutory condition of the scheme, notification of completion of work and a claim for the payment of the grants was not received in my Department by 30 June 1981.
