It is proposed to provide a new school to replace the existing Ballyhale national school, County Kilkenny. Following a review of the future enrolment position, it has been decided recently that the new school should comprise seven classrooms, a general purposes room and the usual ancillary accommodation. A suitable site is available and the Commissioners of Public Works have been asked to prepare sketch-plans for a school of this size. At this stage of planning it is not possible to say when building work may commence.
