Of the 8,987 applications received for cattle headage grants under the 1983 Disadvantaged Areas Schemes in County Donegal, 110 applications or 1.2 per cent are still under consideration. Of this number 61 cases relate to applicants with off-farm incomes who have not yet replied to queries raised by the district livestock office and 24 cases relate to applicants who must become registered herdowners before payments can be made.
