The question of seeking EEC aid for future schemes will be considered in the light of the outcome of the arterial drainage policy review currently being undertaken. At this stage I cannot say when drainage schemes for the Arrow/Owenmore, Dunkellin or other catchments in the west of Ireland might commence.
