I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that investigations are still being carried out in connection with this seizure. The amount of VAT involved in this case may be as much as £140.
It is expected that these investigations will be completed shortly and the Revenue Commissioners will then write to the person in question conveying their decision regarding the disposal of the goods.
