Applications from the person named for 1983 cattle headage and suckler cow grants will be processed when he submits an income tax assessment form for the year ended 5 April 1983 to my Department.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when a land drainage grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.
It is a condition for the payment of grants to development farmers under the farm modernisation scheme that an extract of farm accounts is submitted for each year of the plan.
As the applicant in this case is a development farmer the grant cannot be paid until the necessary extract for the accounting year ended 31 December 1983 has been furnished.
