I move:
That leave be given by the Dáil to introduce the following Supplementary Estimates for the service of the year ending on the 31st day of December, 1984, namely:—
Votes Nos.:—
3 (Department of the Taoiseach), 39 (Labour)."
The Supplementary Estimate for the Department of the Taoiseach relates to extra funding to cover the cost of the New Ireland Forum while the Supplementary Estimate for the Department of Labour relates to the cost of the Enterprise Allowance Scheme.
I presume those Supplementary Estimates are being taken now?
They will be discussed with item No. 5.
Therefore, we can now discuss the Estimates for the Department of the Taoiseach and the Department of Labour as well as these Supplementary Estimates.
Perhaps if I read again the paragraph relating to the order, it will help the Deputy. It is proposed to take Nos. 4 and 5 and, by agreement, Votes 3, 4, 5 and 34. The Supplementary Estimates introduced today will be debated together. A general debate may arise on these Estimates.
