A site has been purchased for the proposed regional technical college in Tallaght and consultants have been appointed. An outline schedule of courses preparatory to the formulation of a schedule of the basis for accommodation has been transmitted to County Dublin Vocational Education Committee for consideration. It is hoped to proceed with the physical planning as soon as a schedule of accommodation is agreed. At this early stage of planning it is not possible to say when construction work will be commenced.
