I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that, following a recent review by the inspector, of the taxpayer's liability for 1983-84, the tax over-deducted from her earnings for that year will be refunded shortly. The taxpayer has also claimed a repayment of tax for 1984-85 on the grounds of unemployment and a cheque in settlement of the claim should reach her soon.
