asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will consider exempting An Foras Talúntais from the public service recruitment embargo.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 304 and 306 together. In view of the Government's recent decision, embodied in the national plan Building on Reality, to continue the embargo on recruitment in the public service, I do not propose to seek exemption from its requirements for either An Foras Talúntais or ACOT.
