asked the Minister for Finance if, in relation to each of the following grades within the office of the Superintending Inspector of Taxes: (a) Principal Inspector of Taxes, (b) Senior Inspector of Taxes, (c) Inspector of Taxes Higher Grade, (d) Inspector of Taxes, (e) Higher Tax Officer, (f) Tax Officer, (g) Departmental Clerical Assistant, (h) Clerical Assistant (General Service), (i) Departmental Typists, (j) Typists (General Service), (k) Paper-keeper and (l) Messenger, he will indicate (1) the total complement in each grade on 30 November, 1984; (2) the total number serving in each grade on 30 November, 1984; (3) the total number of posts embargoed in each grade since 21st July, 1981, at 30 November, 1984; and (4) the number of fillable vacancies in each grade on 30 November, 1984.

The information requested by the Deputy is in the form of a tabular statement which I propose to circulate in the Official Report.
