Agreement has been reached between Westmeath County Council, the group and my Department on a reduced scheme of approximately 60 houses, in the vicinity of Rathowen village, which is financially viable for the group participants. The allocation of grants for this scheme will be considered when the group have submitted the revised estimates of cost and grant application forms requested by my Department.
