Limerick East): The detailed deployment of Garda manpower is a matter for the Garda authorities who have informed me that the current Garda strength at Dún Laoghaire station — 80, all ranks — represents a net increase of 14 over the strength assigned there on 1 January 1983. There are no proposals at present to allocate additional manpower to Dún Laoghaire but the matter will be kept under review.
