I am informed that the Industrial Development Authority is actively endevouring to effect a takeover of the Tuf Shoes factory at Killarney. In addition, the Authority is promoting a 26,600 sq. ft. factory provided by a private developer, its two 3,200 sq. ft. small industry units and 13.5 acre industrial site in the town for suitable industrial projects.
