Vol. 361 No. 3

Written Answers. - Waterford Special School.

74.

asked the Minister for Finance the reason for the long delay in having work started on St. Martin's school, Lady Lane, Waterford.

The reasons for the delay in the commencement of the erection of St. Martin's special school for handicapped children in Waterford were outlined fully in my reply to Parliamentary Question No. 582, by Deputy Fahey on 5 June 1985. The consultants who have been appointed by the manager of the school submitted their recommendation on the acceptance of a tender for the project on 7 October 1985 and this is being examined by the Office of Public Works.
