The provision of an extension to Sligo General Hospital is at an advanced stage of planning. This is a priority project for completion of planning and commencement of construction as soon as capital resources can be made available for this purpose. I cannot yet say when it will be possible to do this and, in the circumstances, it is not yet possible to be precise about the starting and completion dates for the project.
