Limerick East): Apart from the fact that it is not clear that certain submissions apparently regarded by the Committee of Inquiry into the Penal System as being “non-confidential” would, in fact, be so regarded by their authors, other issues arise which will have to be considered. Accordingly, I shall have to give further consideration to the question whether it would be in the public interest to make available submissions made to the committee.
