Since work on this scheme commenced prior to 1 July 1985 it does not fulfil the conditions necessary for the allocation of grants at the higher rates.

asked the Minister for the Environment when he will sanction the Louth sewerage scheme.
Louth County Council is at present preparing revised contract documents for this sewerage scheme and will submit them to my Department for examination and approval. I am not in a position to indicate when the scheme will be sanctioned.
