The position in my Department regarding the Plean — Gníomhaíochta don Gaeilge 1983-86 — is as follows: (1) An officer has been appointed with overall responsibility for implementation of the plan. (2) A Coiste Forbartha Gaeilge has been established in the Department. (3) Satisfactory progress has been made since 1983 on the implementation of the specific proposals for Government Departments as outlined in the plan.
