I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that an amended certificate of tax-free allowances for the current year, 1985-86, was issued to the taxpayer on 21 October 1985. A 1985-86 return of income form was issued to the taxpayer on 16 October 1985, and his allowances will be further amended, as appropriate, on receipt of the form, duly completed. Any health expenses relief due for the current year will be granted on review of the taxpayer's liability for 1985-86. The appropriate form for claiming such relief was issued on 30 October 1985.
