The person named will be paid his 1985 cattle headage and also his calf premium grants when the batches which include his payments are processed.

asked the Minister for Agriculture (a) when ewes were inspected by his Department's officials for the 1983-84 ewe premium; and (b) when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will be paid this premium.
Sheep inspections were carried out by my Department between May and July 1983. The person named was paid £485.76 on 5 January 1984 in respect of the advance and £774.72 on 11 July 1984 in respect of the balance of the 1983-84 ewe premium.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will reconsider the position regarding a person (details supplied) in County Longford whose application for the Shannon flood scheme was rejected causing him considerable financial hardship.
The applicant in question does not farm within the area covered by the Shannon flood scheme 1985. Accordingly, his application could not be accepted but he is eligible to apply for aid under the free voucher scheme 1985.
