The yield from the youth employment levy in 1984 was £83.25 million. In addition to receipts from the levy, the relevant subhead in my Department's Estimate also includes expected European Social Fund receipts for schemes administered by the Department. The percentage breakdown of expenditure from the subhead in 1984 is set out below.
