Payment of grants in this case will be made early in the new year. The arrangement with this herdowner involved the depopulation of the herd of some 80 animals throughout the autumn, the last of the slaughterings having taken place on 27 November. Essential documentation associated with the herdowner's claim has only recently been received and is currently under examination with a view to payment of grants.
