asked the Minister for Finance if he will arrange for a senior revenue official to meet the managing director of a company (details supplied) as a matter of urgency to try to come to a mutually acceptable arrangement for payment of taxes due to date in view of the number of employees, the tight financial circumstances and the good tax paying record of the company concerned.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that an official of the Collector-General's office met the managing director of the company concerned on 17 January 1986. An arrangement for the payment of the company's value-added tax arrears was agreed.
