I am forwarding to the Deputy a list showing the persons licensed in 1985 to perform experiments on animals under the Cruelty to Animals Act, 1876, and the purpose for which the licence was granted. Returns on the numbers of experiments actually carried out by each licensee in 1985 will not be complete until later in the year.
