asked the Minister for Health the number of patients from the Counties Tipperary, Waterford, Kilkenny, Carlow and Wexford waiting to be seen for ear, nose and throat consultations at Ardkeen hospital, Waterford; the average waiting period for an outpatient's consultation appointment; in relation to the same counties, the number of people awaiting surgical treatment for ear, nose and throat surgery; and the length of time on average these patients are on a waiting list.

The number of patients from the SouthEastern Health Board area waiting to be seen at the ENT out-patients clinic at Waterford Regional Hospital, Ardkeen, on 31 December 1985 and the number of patients awaiting ENT surgery at the hospital on that date are given below.
