asked the Minister for Health the number of reported patients from County Roscommon who are being treated in Irish hospitals for tuberculosis and the number of reported outbreaks in County Roscommon in each of the years 1981 to 1985, inclusive.

The numbers of patients for the years 1983 to 1985 are not yet available. The number of new cases for 1985 is not yet available.

asked the Minister for Health the number of children in County Roscommon born in each of the years 1981 to 1985, inclusive, who suffer from the following long-term illnesses: (a) mental illness; (b) phenylketonuria; (c) cystic fibrosis; (d) spina bifida; (e) hydrocephalus; (f) haemophilia; (g) cerebral palsy, and (h) muscular dystrophies.

Information regarding the numbers of people suffering from long-term illness is not readily available in the detail requested by the Deputy, except in the case of phenylketonuria the figures for which are set out in the following table:
