Following a review of enrolments and of the existing accommodation at St. Nissan's national school, Mungret, County Limerick, my Department on 22 November 1985 advised the school authorities of its agreement to a revised brief for the provision of five new classrooms and a general purposes room and the conversion of an existing general purposes room to a classroom. My Department's professional officers have been instructed to expedite the preparation of the necessary sketch plan, and this will be submitted for consideration by the school authorities as soon as possible. I am not in a position to state at this stage when building work may commence on the project.
