asked the Minister for Justice if members of the Garda sought to interview journalists who had written articles, prior to the appointment of an administrator to the PMPA group, suggesting that there might be problems with the group; the number of journalists so approached; the reasons for the approach; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

asked the Minister for Justice if gardaí were sent to interview the journalist who had indicated that there might be problems with the PMPA; and, if so, the reason.

Unless there are exceptional circumstances indicating otherwise, it is not the practice for Ministers for Justice to confirm or deny publicly that a particular individual or organisation is, or has been, the subject of a Garda investigation or to confirm or deny that the Garda have had or have sought an interview with particular persons.
