It is presumed that the Deputy is referring to grant assistance provided to the non-scheduled harbours at Rosslare, Arklow Jetty and Greenore. State grants totalling £1.594 million were paid to Rosslare in the period 1963-64 to 1985. No moneys were paid to either Arklow Jetty or Greenore.

It is presumed that the Deputy is referring to grant assistance provided to each of the harbours in part 2 of the first Schedule to the Harbours Act, 1946, and to the harbour authority for Bantry Bay which was established under the Harbours Act, 1976.
