Approximately £1.2 million has been allocated to farmers in County Kerry under the feed voucher scheme. In addition, 11,370 tonnes of cheap intervention grain have been allocated to the same farmers under the scheme.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when a person (details supplied) in county Clare will be paid his silage grant, calf subsidy and headage grant.
The person named was paid a silage subsidy in 1981 and was therefore not eligible for a grant under the 1985 scheme for first time silage making. He will, however, be paid his cattle headage, calf premium and suckler cow grants shortly.
