asked the Minister for the Environment if he will make a special housing allocation to Laois County Council in 1986 in accordance with the undertaking given by his predecessor for the purpose of upgrading and carrying out essential repairs to the housing scheme at O'Moore Place, Portlaoise, County Laois, and if he will make a statement on the conditions under which people reside in this housing scheme and the urgency of having the work carried out for the purpose of preserving existing housing stock.
