I understand that tenders for the scheme have been received and are at present under examination by Donegal County Council. The submission of the local authority's proposal in regard to the acceptance of a tender is awaited.

asked the Minister for the Environment the up-to-date position regarding the proposed sewerage scheme for Burtonport, County Donegal.
While contract documents for the Burtonport sewerage scheme were approved on 19 April 1984 I understand that Donegal County Council have yet to obtain a foreshore licence to complete the preliminary arrangements for the scheme. When this is received it will be in order for the county council to seek tenders.
