Phase 1 of this extension is made up of two interdependent stages. While contract documents for contract No. 2 of phase 1 were received in my Department in November 1984 contract documents for contract No. 1 of phase 1 were received in my Department on March 12 1986. The documents are under examination at present.
It would not be possible for me to give a decision on the proposal until this examination has been completed and other necessary preliminaries have been finalised by Mayo County Council.
