A total of £845,000 has been disposed of under the authority of the Funds of Suitors Act, 1984, for the following purposes:

The unexpended balance of the funds is at present £2,560,000, approximately, of which a further £400,000 is earmarked for culture and the arts, a further £420,000 for the premises of the King's Inns and the remainder (including future interest earnings) for court projects and for further expansion of services provided by the Legal Aid Board.
