The applicant received approval for a land improvement project in February 1979 with a latest date for completion of 31 October 1980. This was later extended to 30 June 1983. He received approval for farm buildings in August 1980 with a latest date for completion of 31 October 1981. This was later extended to 31 October 1984. As notifications of completion of these works were not received by the final dates indicated, grants are not payable.

(Limerick West) asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason a grant in respect of first-time silage makers was not paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.
The grant which was inadvertently delayed, will be paid shortly.
