In 1984, the latest year for which firm estimates are available, receipts of international passenger fares from visitors from abroad were estimated at £149 million. This is 25 per cent of the estimated total receipts (including international passenger fare receipts) from visitors from abroad to Ireland in 1984. Separate data cannot be given for sea and air carriers.
