Vol. 365 No. 4

Written Answers. - South Eastern Health Board Allocation.

31.

asked the Minister for Health the allocation the South Eastern Health Board received from 1986; and if he considered this sum to be adequate to maintain the community services at the present time.

The approved 1986 non-capital allocation for the South Eastern Health Board for 1986 is £85.550 million. This covers all services financed directly by the board excluding the board's share of the expenses of the General Medical Services (Payments) Board.

Health boards generally were advised that community care programmes should be protected, and that this should be reflected in their budgets for 1986.
