Grants totalling £976,950 were allocated to 65 sports organisations this year in respect of the costs of coaching, administration, equipment and special projects designed to increase participation and improve standards.
I propose to circulate in the official report a tabular statement showing the amount of grant applied for by the sports organisations and the amount allocated to each organisation.
The following three organisations were not successful in their application for grant-in-aid for 1986: The Motor Cycle Union of Ireland, The Irish Pony Club, and The Royal Irish Automobile Club.
