Grant aid of 10 per cent of approved costs is available to participants in the farm improvement programme (FIP) in the Western Region for the purchase of forage harvesters for making silage including baled silage. In view of the limited financial resources available at this time it is not possible to extend the range of equipment eligible for such aid nor to make the aid available in the remainder of the country.
