asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a new house grant has not been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cavan on the basis that the first acknowledgement was received from his Department on 19 September 1984 which should make him eligible to receive the grant without any further delay; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
The Department is in correspondence with the applicant regarding the manner of the calculation of the floor area and the position will be further considered on receipt of this information.
