asked the Minister for Finance if he will give details of the advisory bodies currently under the aegis of his Department; the total number of persons other than civil servants appointed by him to these bodies; the number of such persons whose current address is outside the State; and the total number of such persons with current addresses within each separate county of the State.

Currently there are three advisory bodies under the aegis of my Department, details of which are as follows:

1. The Board of Visitors to Kilmainham Jail

—Total number of persons other than civil servants serving is ten, all of whom are appointed by the Minister for Finance.

—None of these people are resident outside the State.

—Nine have current addresses in Dublin, one lives in Meath.

2. The National Monuments Advisory Council

—Total number of persons other than civil servants serving is 15, all of whom are appointed by the Minister for Finance.

—One of these people is resident in Northern Ireland (Belfast).

—Nine have current addresses in Dublin, and there is one person from each of the following counties, Cavan, Cork, Galway, Meath and Wexford.

3. The Central Development Committee

—Total number of persons other than civil servants serving is eight (all public servants) and appointed ex-officio.

—None of these people are resident outside the State.

—Two have current addresses in Dublin, and there is one person from each of the following counties, Cavan, Galway, Leitrim, Limerick, Roscommon and Sligo.
