asked the Minister for the Environment the reason it was decided by an inspector that a house of a person (details supplied) in County Cavan was unoccupied when he called at 3.20 p.m. on 1 October 1986, while the applicant for a new house grant, who is single and living alone in the house, was at work; and when an inspection will be made.

An appointment card was posted to this applicant but the inspector reported that he was unable to gain access to the house when he called. A further inspection, by appointment, is being arranged and will be carried out within the next few weeks.
