Vol. 371 No. 8

Written Answers. - Sale of Great Southern Hotel.

196.

asked the Minister for Labour if the plans announced by his predecessor to sell the Great Southern Hotel, Rosslare, County Wexford are being pursued by him; if he intends to continue providing a CERT training programme there; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I am at present examining the decision of the previous Government to dispose of the State's interest in Ostlanna Iompair Éireann Teo and I will report to Government on the matter in the near future.

The provision of CERT courses and their location is a matter for the Council of CERT and I have no function in the matter. I would like to say, however, that I am not aware of any proposals to change the existing CERT arrangements with the OIE Hotel in Rosslare.
