My Department in February 1987 sanctioned a grant towards the cost of certain improvements at Ballymacelligott, No. 1 (Flemby) national school, County Kerry. The actual carrying out of these improvements is now a matter for the school authorities to arrange in consultation with the Office of Public Works. My Department is awaiting a report from the Office of Public Works in regard to further improvements for which a grant has been sought. When the report is received, my Department will be in touch with the school authorities.

asked the Minister for Education the up-to-date position regarding the proposed extension to Tralee Christian Brothers school, The Green, Tralee, County Kerry.
My Department awaits the submission of the development sketch scheme (stage 3). The rate at which architectural planning of all building projects can proceed is subject to review in the light of the capital resources available.
