The design team for this project are proceeding with the architectural planning. It is not possible at this stage to say when construction work will commence.

asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the proposed new national school at Killeen, Arles, County Laois.
The Deputy is understood to refer to the proposed extension to the national school at Killeen, Arles, County Laois, drawings for which have been sent to the school authorities with a view to their seeking local authority planning permission. My Department is meanwhile in correspondence with the authorities regarding a suitable local contribution towards the cost of the project. When these matters have been satisfactorily disposed of, my Department will be formally sanctioning a grant and the project will proceed to preparation of tender documentation.
