Vol. 372 No. 1

Written Answers. - Dublin School.

611.

asked the Minister for Education if, in view of the fact that Christ the King national school, Dublin 7, is now in a disadvantaged area, she will arrange for another teacher or adequate additional resources in lieu of a teacher to be allocated to this school, along the lines of similar allocations in schools in Ballymun in recent times.

The allocations under my Department's special teaching assistance scheme for schools serving disadvantaged areas have already been made for the current school year and there are no funds available to supplement this provision for the present. However, I will have the circumstances of this school examined in the context of an overall review of the scheme for the coming school year.
