Bord Lúthchleas Gael na mBunscoileanna is one of six component bodies funded by Cumann Lúthchleas Gael from the annual grant for sports bodies allocated by my Department. Cumann Lúthchleas Gael is the national governing body for gaelic games at all levels and as such is the only body eligible to receive grant-aid in respect of the promotion and development of gaelic games. Accordingly, it would not be appropriate for me to provide separate grant-aid to Bord Lúthchleas Gael na mBunscoileanna.
